The Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA - V) validates the skills IT operators and administrators need to install, configure, and manage a highly available environment comprised of Virtual Apps and Desktops Delivery Controllers, Cloud Connectors, StoreFront, Citrix Workspace app, Director, Studio and Profile Management that resides either on-premises or in the Citrix Cloud.
The 1Y0-204 exam is intended for IT professionals who install, configure, and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 either on-premises or in the Citrix Cloud. Those who install, configure, and manage such solutions may hold various job titles such as:
- Systems Administrators/Citrix Administrators
- Desktop Administrators
- Application Administrators(s)
Recommended Product Experience
Six months of experience with the following Citrix technologies:
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 or newer
- Stroefront
- Citrix Profile Manangement
- Citrix Workspace app
- Citrix Gateway 12 or newer
- Attend Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 Deployment and Administration (CWS-215)
- Pass the following exams:
- Exam 1Y0-204
To renew your Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) certification, you must either pass the most recent version of the exam associated with your certification or, if your certification is still current, complete the relevant Citrix instructor-led or virtual instructor-led training (ILT/VILT) course.
