Cisco Umbrella is a three-day, instructor-led training course that introduces learners to Cisco’s cloud-delivered security platform, which provides the first line of defense against internet-based threats. The course focuses on understanding how Cisco Umbrella works, how to position its capabilities, and how to deploy and manage its security features. Participants learn about Secure Internet Gateway (SIG), ransomware protection, DNS and IP-layer enforcement, threat intelligence, roaming security, and integrations with Active Directory and Cisco SecureX. Through expert instruction and hands-on labs, learners gain practical experience configuring policies, deploying roaming clients, managing users, and analyzing security activity using Umbrella reporting and investigation tools.This course qualifies for 18 Cisco Continuing Education (CE) credits.
