BA04: Business Process Modeling (with UML 2 and BPMN)

This hands-on workshop teaches learners how to use static, structural analysis techniques to model a business domain and describe business requirements for IT systems. Participants learn to apply class diagrams, data models, and other structural modeling techniques through a real-life case study. The course emphasizes using structural analysis during interviews to define business concepts, capture business rules, and verify behavioral models such as use cases. Learners also gain an understanding of when and how to convert class diagrams into Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) for database design and data warehousing contexts.
