Linux System Administrator Part Two (RH134 Equivalent)

Linux System Administrator Part Two (RH134) is an advanced, hands-on course that builds on the foundational skills acquired in Linux System Administrator Part One (RH124). Designed to support the RHCSA certification path, this course deepens participants’ expertise in enterprise Linux administration using Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Learners focus on advanced command-line usage, automation and scripting, storage management, SELinux security, system performance tuning, and container management. By the end of the course, participants will be able to deploy, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in enterprise and cloud environments.

• Deploy and install Red Hat Enterprise Linux using scalable installation techniques
• Improve command-line efficiency through advanced Bash usage, scripting, and automation
• Schedule and manage recurring and one-time tasks using cron, at, and systemd timers
• Analyze and manage system logs using journalctl and log rotation tools
• Archive, compress, and securely transfer files between systems
• Monitor and tune system performance using process and kernel tuning tools
• Configure and manage SELinux modes, contexts, and security policies
• Design and manage storage using Logical Volume Manager (LVM) and file system resizing
• Configure and manage network-attached storage using NFS
• Control and troubleshoot the Linux boot process and system targets
• Secure network services using firewalld and SELinux network controls
• Run and manage containerized workloads using Podman and systemd integration
