Rancher Manager 2.8 for Rancher Prime Operations RAN201v2.8
This three-day, partner-delivered course provides in-depth training on deploying, administering, and managing multiple Kubernetes clusters using SUSE Rancher Server. The course begins with a foundation in Rancher Server architecture and core concepts, then progresses into hands-on administration using Rancher’s graphical interfaces, including Rancher Cluster Manager and Rancher Cluster Explorer.
Participants will learn how to register existing Kubernetes clusters, provision new RKE clusters, and manage infrastructure-based and hosted Kubernetes clusters across public cloud providers. The course also covers user and access management, application deployment with Helm, multi-cluster application delivery, logging, monitoring, security scanning, and backup and restore operations.
Extensive hands-on labs reinforce each topic, providing real-world experience administering Rancher-managed Kubernetes environments. The course prepares learners for the SCA in SUSE Rancher 2.6 certification exam and introduces AI-assisted workflows to accelerate configuration and troubleshooting tasks.
