UCS X-Series Intersight, Deployment, Operations, and Troubleshooting (UCSXDOT) is a five-day, instructor-led training course focused on deploying, troubleshooting, and operating Cisco UCS X-Series in a production environment using Cisco Intersight. This course provides in-depth coverage of UCS X-Series hardware, including the X9508 chassis, X210c/X410c compute nodes, and 6400/6500 Series Fabric Interconnects. Participants gain hands-on experience preparing hardware for Intersight Managed Mode (IMM), managing day-to-day operations using Cisco Intersight dashboards, and resolving common issues related to fabric interconnects, firmware, pools, policies, and profiles.
Course Objectives
- Explain the solution-level architecture of Cisco UCS X-Series and its differentiation from previous UCS architectures
- Describe the role of Cisco Intersight and Intersight Managed Mode (IMM)
- Identify UCS X-Series hardware components and understand communication and traffic flow
- Deploy a UCS X-Series solution using Cisco Intersight
- Use Cisco Intersight features to manage and monitor UCS X-Series environments
- Troubleshoot Fabric Interconnect, IOM, frame, CRC, SAN, and firmware issues
- Operate and support a UCS X-Series production installation
